It was in late 2003 that I first discovered Xanga. Several of my college friends convinced me it was a good idea. It was mostly neglected for a few years. Most of the early posts are extremely cryptic - I dont even know what some of it means anymore!
Than at some point, I decided to start to write more. It really took off when I was bored at work. I never would have guessed that I would find two of the best friends a girl could ask for. But I did. And now I wouldnt give them up for the world!
But Xanga has lost much of its appeal to me. Im tired of the constant bullshit. I dont want to have to bust my ass taking stupid surveys to make sure I can keep my premium status. I like having access to that regardless! So perhaps it is time for a move. I have played around on Blogger before. The one blog I was putting together of different ways to try to make money from home. I wanted to be able to some day stay home with my children. Things have changed. I didnt like a lot of that. Yes, I still earn some extra money or free gift certificates to go out to dinner. But there is no way I could make a living like that and actually spend anytime doing anything else! So that blog really doesnt get any attention anymore. But I like Blogger anyway.
So here I am. I shall see how this goes. Hopefully I will easily be able to figure out all of the features I dont know about. No worries about when my premium will expire. And sometimes you just have to move on...
Besides, as long as April and Ange are around here, why wouldnt I want to be?
